My Mother had a bad stroke yesterday-spent the nite in the hospital--they are trying to get her on hospice--having trouble finding the dr to sign on friday

First a tip I learned the hard way--photos or important stuff you have on your pc--back them up some where !!!  We spent all day in Office Depot--but they did finially recover my pictures--it cost me but I got them back. It was going to cost about $200. to clean the pc and get the virus or whatever was in it fixed--I said to heck with it--and we bought a new pc--mine was old anyway--it will take me some time to get used to this stuff and find everything--This is windows 7--I had just learned Vista and I think Windows 8 is already out !! We also bought an external hard drive to store pictures and stuff in (so much for our summer vaction huh?) Oh well--I will figure this thing out soon I hope--I have a bigger screen so it's easier to see !!

I had McAfee on my old pc and I put it on this one--but the tech said--dont click on attachments in any e mail--and don't open e mails that have been forwarded a lot of times-thats where I probaly picked it up--malware I think--something like that. Hot in Texas--thank goodness for ac !!

My pc is trying to crash--trying to figure out what the problem is or transfer things to the lap top till I do.

Friday the wind blowed a 30 foot tree down on top of  Johns shop--called the insurance--got a guy to come early saturday to get it off the roof so it wouldn't cave the rest of it in--Insurance said that was find-just take pictures--they would send someone out to check the damage--its Monday afternoon and I'm still waiting--and waiting--and,,,,,,,,,,,,

I woke up this morning thinking I smelled rain-and for some strange reason--I thought of when I was a kid sleeping with the window open hearing  and smelling the fresh rain-and wondering why I never open a window when it rains any more. It was one of those memories that make you smile. Next time it rains-I'm sleeping with the window open--even if it's just  a little,,,,,,,

 We got hail here in the storm a couple of weeks ago. We went out and picked up a few stones and I told John it looks like the eyes of God. Thats how I knew we would be ok. What do ya think--? The eyes of God watching over us?

How in the world did May get here so fast? Seems like yesterday was Christmas. Lots of rain here but the sun is out today and it's warm-so I think I will sit on the porch and talk to the dog--he likes that you know--plus he can't tell anyone what we talk about,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,atleast I hope not,,

Nothing new going on here. I try to read everyones post and comment. Other than that I run to the nursing home--walmarts and back home

Just a little rain in Texas this morning. Kind of cool but I'm enjoying the rain and being home--I'm taking a day off from the rest home to get caught up on my laundry and stuff !

1. cranking the ice cream freezer

2. being the one who has to sit on top !!
