How in the world did May get here so fast? Seems like yesterday was Christmas. Lots of rain here but the sun is out today and it's warm-so I think I will sit on the porch and talk to the dog--he likes that you know--plus he can't tell anyone what we talk about,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,atleast I hope not,,

I talk to my dogs too. And sometimes I think they understand me.. or at least my tone of voice to know when I am happy and when I am upset.
lol Good for you and the dog. We sit on the porch and the Golden and the cat are jealous so we have to "fight" them off.
I think it was cold for so long that no one can believe it is May.
@dianelub - I think the same thing--sometimes when I'm sad my dog just crawls in my lap--kind of like a kid !
@TheSunnyC - my dog makes me smile--I keep teasing John and telling him-we should have gotten a goat instead-cause aleast a goat could eat grass--!!
Dogs do seem to know when you need some love! I am glad that you have him!! Yes, it is May! The calendar says so!

I have a dog next door again. Gets only Wil and I to talk to. Ironically her name is Layla and that is the name of the dog our son had.

@BLB - Maybe it's an omen--God sent him there cause he knows you will look out for him but I can't help but wonder how the heck did they get another dog-if it's the same people
My cat loves it when I come out on the porch to talk to her too. She never repeats anything either. (o;
Her, and yes it is a family that was as problematic as the renters that were on the other side. They can't even see fit to pick up their yard and mow it but at least me waking them at 7 a.m. Saturday because the long leash was caught on the AC got her off leash!
I may have to bribe Willie with a dog bone,,
