My kitchen floor is clean !!! I mopped it and washed down the cabinets--fixing to catch up the laundry--maybe there is help for me after all !! I just got so far behind when Mom died-plus bringing so much of her stuff over here--I will have to go thru it slowly and give part of it to my sisters and get rid of a lot--guess I have just been to down and out to get started--I still have way to much stuff in here but I am working on it !! Slow but it's a start

I'm procrastinating on cleaning the fridge but will have to make myself get going. Did find the top of my desk today but have sorta lost it again already.
We keep the a/c set at 80 degrees, and with trips in and out in the 100 plus heat, neither of us have the energy to clean much. Add to that emotional drains for you, and I can understand not doing much. Pat yourself on the back for what you did.!
Oppressive TX heat has been of no help. Now when you finish there do you want to come help me? Wil left at 5 a.m. this morning to drive to PA. It seems like all I can do any more is cry. 2 wks. isn't so long, but I worry about him driving that far. He still things he's in his 30's.
@TheSunnyC - I know the feeling-I cleaned off the kitchen table and now it looks like it hasnt been touched--
@SewWorthIt - Well I guess i can just save it for the cold winter--something to keep me busy !! The heat is bad here too
@BLB - I would worry about him driving that far too !!!! I'm sure he has a cell phone to call you--but thats a long way to go !! I'm sure you told him that and in "man" fashion it went in one ear and out the other !! I tell John-put your hand over your other ear so what I'm telling you doesnt just go right on thru,,,,,,,,,,doesnt help.
Slow but it is a start !! Yes Maggie . Time is needed in those cierconstances .

These things take time. I still have boxes of stuff to go thru, but it's my kids' stuff.
