Before my Aunts party at the nursing home the lady asked me what was her favorite color. I said She likes pink and blue but her favorite is lavender. She said she would have them put those colors on the cake. She told them to put Happy Birthday--they said in  what color--she told them "lavender" (someof ya'll know where this is going don't ya?) So here she is 96 years old at her birthday party !

But we all had a good laughter. After all at 96 you have to pick what your gonna waste time being upset about huh?

I know I need to write a new post but not much happening. Saturday is my Aunts 96 birthday--and she ask me everyday--if it's her birthday yet?? and why has no one called or send her a card ????  LOL Even at 96 we still enjoyed things like that I guess. The rest home is having a party tomorrow for everyone with a birthday in Feb. so I'm taking ice cream  to go with there cake. Then on Saturday for her birthday I'm taking her a hamburger(her request) and I'm sure she will have company.

So far our winter has been real mild--enjoying--only problem i need to mow the grass !! Strange for Feb huh?

I found this little dish at a thrift store the other day and it just makes me smile. God knows I have enough of these little dishes sitting around-but just looking at those little rabbits trying to get a peek in the bowl makes me  laugh. I put some wax beads in there but not sure thats what I want to leave. Any ideas !!

Sure hope they have this thing fixed so our comments stay put !

Comment box still not working on most of the sites--hope they get it fixed soon cause I know some people are leaving comments and not realizing there aren't showing up ! And by the way-my gallbladder test was ok--dr. said if it happens again let him know. I'm taking prilosac for stomach acid for a while--We will see.

Anyone else having this problem ? I can't leave a message anywhere unless I click the box that says "comment box not working" I went back to several places I had commented--nothing there--I had to redo it. So if you have commented any where yesterday or today-you might want to go back and check

Got the test done. They didnt really tell me anything so I guess I wait--probaly be Friday before I know anything. The only thing she said was she didn't see any stones but that you can still have problems with your gall bladder with no stones. I hate waiting

Haven't felt to well lately so my Dr. wants me to have my gall bladder checked. I'm having a sonogram tomorrow. Prayers will be appreciated. I don't have time to be sick !

Hard to believe January is half over. Not much going on so its hard to find something to write about. We got home health for Johns dad and he is doing better and gaining some weight. We got Johns Mom off of half that medcine they were giving her and shes doing better. Man it's a full time job running and taking care of folks.

No New years resolutions -I did get out and take a walk today--I can sure tell I haven't walked in a while.

I know I need to post--it's been a couple of weeks. Somehow the time just flew by--the holidays were kind of sad this year. I miss Mother--but I know shes in heaven and not in pain. We had kind of a quiet holiday. Our son and his wife came and we ate and played games--it was a nice night. Yesterday we got all the Christmas stuff put away.

We took Johns Mom to the dr.--got her meds straightened out--she was taking to much medcine and she was off her diabetes diet--so maybe things will get better with her now. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
