Don't ever let anyone tell you -you can rest when the funeral is over--I have never made so many calls and filled out so much paper in my life--I'm so tired. Hopefully it will get better in a few weeks?

It gets better -- but it's been almost 7 months and I'm still making those calls!
Been there.....done that. I promise you it WILL get better.

@GrannyHummingbird - I sure hope so Granny-I have so many papers scattered on my table-and my Mom had a pre planned funeral
@Maggietx1 - It definitely does get better -- I'm down to about one call a week now, and the estate is almost settled -- another month should hopefully do it except for final statements.
I won't tell you it gets better, but I will say that the urgency to get it done, does lessen after awhile. It is just that there are many that need imediate attention, to the point that it is overwhelming. Will keep you in my thoughts.!
All my condolences ,Maggie , for the loss of your mother . You are right not only there is the sorrow but you have also all of the papers and also a lot of painful things to do . Love

Wil is no longer getting any calls. Of course he isn't on Wells Fargo's backside now. He doesn't give a hoot what happens to the house.
I spent time calling every magazine that came in to get Scott off the mail list. I think now I succeeded.
