I have been out raking leaves and mulching them with my mower. Doing a bit everyday. Thats one of the draw backs of living on the corner--the wind blows everyones leaves into our fences so we get to take care of them. My allergies have been so bad this year so I wore a mask to rake and mow -- I can't breathe with the stupid thing on--but I wore it cause I don't want to be sick for Christmas !!

Needless to say John is more of a Christmas person than I am. I think him and the dog decoration everything front and back except the neighbors yard !!!!

This is little Willie--he doesn't know he's a dog--he thinks he runs this place,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,he may be right !

Don't remember seeing to many green lady bugs but then there are lots of things I don't remember !

Time to update I guess. Although not much happening here. Hope everyone is getting ready for a Big Thanksgiving day. This year John and will be by ourselves soooo,,, we are going to Steak and Shake !!!!!! Get us out of the house,,have a good time ( I think we did it last year too ) To hard to sit home and remember all the big family  dinners. I guess everyone has to many places to go--this will be our first holidays without Johns Dad and my Aunt and Mom .

I found it and got it up there but I will still have to work on fixing it !

This is a follow up about our visit and the charge for 1 extra syrup--I got your letter. But you still didnt say if the next time we go to mcDonalds-will we be charged for 1 extra syrup? Is that your new policy? Do we bring our own syrup or will it just be easier to go some where else? This week we are going to ask around at different places to see who charges for "1" packet of syrup(not 5-or 10)

Thats enough "BS" that would need extra syrup to cover it !

So-I'm writing them back and asking if they still intend to charge me for "1 syrup"

My new pc is back yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--Hope it works right this time.

Still no response from McDonalds about the syrup,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe they got scared when they heard I know Granny Hummingnbird !!!

And waiting for my pc to come back ! According to fed ex it's in  Ft. Worth(about 90 miles from me) and has been for a day or so--dont ask me why--they just keep saying tomorrow,,,,,,,oh well.

Sunday morning we went to mcdonalds and ate breakfast--John got pancakes--they gave him 2 little things of syrup--He asked for 1 more--the guy(Manager I guess) said-"Ok but I will have to charge you"-John said" You have got to be kidding !--for 1 thing of syrup???? "  Manager said-Yes--I asked how much--he said 10 cents--I was trying to keep from laughing--how stupid. But I pulled out a dime and told the girl behind the counter to give me one,,,,,,she said " Ok but its 11 cents with tax ! "-I gave her the penny--and someone else told me they now charge if you want extra BBQ sauce--Anyone else heard of this ??? I mean if we had asked for 10-20 I could understand--but for one ??? I told John -let's go back next week and I will carry a bottle of syrup in with us !!!
