Internet Explore has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting.
What the heck does that mean ???? It comes up everytime I get on my xanga site--never any other page just xanga. Just started last night???
"Cross-site scripting, a security exploit in which the attacker inserts malicious client-side code into webpages, has been around since the 1990s and most major websites like Google".
Well I found out what it was !! Wonder why they just started checking for it ????

Don't know what it means, but so far, it has not happened to me. Thank goodness.....I wouldn't know what to do with it either!! (o;
@GrannyHummingbird - Hey lady-where you been?? Staying out of trouble I hope?
I don't have any idea-not happening to me
@GrannyHummingbird - Good to know that you are still amongst the living! Where have you been?
Have you tried a different browser instead of internet explorer: it might help
@vexations - Now thats a good idea-do you have one to suggest? I dont know many others
you might download Firefox
@vexations - Ok thanks for the suggestion-I will check it out !
I use firefox. I checked this in IE and instead of my home page coming up they threw in an ad for IE8 so I had to hit the little house to see if my home page was still there. I hate change, I hate ads.
Oh and that must only pop up when you go to the editor because it didn't happen to me coming here.
When my McAfee was 'fixed' I now have that site advisor I wished I didn't have. it's another bar at the bottom to close and the first time I came to xanga a big fat warning came up. Hasn't since.
I have also the "bar" saying IE has modified this page .. This is probably for the safety but this bothers a bit me .
I hope Maggie You found the way to upload pictures with your xanga editor .
