I know I need to update but just not much going on in Texas but the heat. We are still trying to find some good insurance we can afford--thats the hard part. The ones you can afford dont pay much till you have spent several thousand out of your pocket. Just makes you mad but we will do what we have to--just cant take a chance on not having it. Friday is Johns last day at work--we are both looking forward to having some time off to do a few things. Oh I'm sure we will get tired of each other before long--but we will figure it out. Our son is having rotator cuff surgery next week-He will have 16 weeks to recover I think they said--so we will be running back and forth a lot the first couple of weeks. Hope everyone is staying cool where ever you are !

Hoping your son does really well
Does your son live close by?
Tell John he's welcome to take over dish washing duties. Wil has done that but he won't touch the washer except to toss clothes in and pull out heavier stuff for m.
@KarensPotpourri2 - Thank you karen-we hope so too.
@BLB - Bonnie I am real careful what I let John do. When I was in the hospital last time--he wanted to do something so he put ALL the clothes in the washer--then put them ALL in the dryer on high,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,all shrunk--all pink underwear--uncluding his--LOL
Well Maggie you just didn't train him right.
When we were first married it was laundromat and I didn't drive so Wil had to go along. lol
I will be sending positive thoughts in your direction
my sweet friend. (For you and John and your son)
I think of you often,, it always makes me smile.

@bleuzeus - Oh Matthew-my sweet friend. I miss you being on here. Hope things are well with you. Love you my friend
Thank you for praying. It had to do with my estranged daughter (been gone for almost 8 years, no communication as per her demand) and every now and then she blogs about us as if WE deserted HER. Last night, on top of other things, it just got to me. I'm emotionally better today and do appreciate your prayers.
I hope your son heals fast. My mom had that done as did my sister and they are doing very well from it now. It does take a bit of time to heal, but if he does just what the doc says, he should be playing baseball in the major league soon. : )
Have a good week. Hope you find an insurance that works for you. I know it IS hard. God bless!!
@MadraysGarden - I know that must be hard for you and I can see how hard it is for you. Just keep taking it one day at a time and praying someday she will come around. And thank you for the kind thoughts for our sons surgery --And I agree--if he can get thru that first week or so he will do fine. Prayers for peace in your heart and maybe someday she will come around.
Thank you for thinking of me. Still not in my house. Internetting is difficult for me. Riding Hood
@Riding_Hood - I wondered where you were. I was hoping things were getting better. Still no help? Wow. Your a strong woman to brave thru this !
I hope your son ' s surgery is doing well .
How is the beginning of your husband retirement ? ;-à
Love
Michel
The thing is, it's a long drawn out process. I may not get int my house for another month. Be happy that you are blessed with a home. I can see people are pretty naive about disasters. I was once too. I have little time and little Internet access. No computer. I am using a phone but I have little patience for it. It drains my phone as well. Well take care, R hood
Hoping your son heals quickly. R hood
@Riding_Hood - I think you are right--until stuff like that happened to us we take a lot of things for granted--Prayers and blessings for you--Hope someone helps you get back on your feet. Are you still at Walmarts? are they helping you any?
