I know it's time to update but just not anything happening in Texas--except the heat--looks like its gonna be another hot summer--By 9-10 every morning it's just to hot to get out and do anything. We had a real nice Fathers day-our son and his wife took us out to Chilis for lunch and we ate and talked--just enjoyed the after noon. Everyone asks me what I do with my time now that my Aunt is gone--truthfully--I'm still a bit lost--I went to that Nursing home almost everyday for 10 years --hard to figure out what to do now--but I will. Hope everyone is enjoying the start of summer

Some times change is so hard! Have to re-adjust your whole life just about! It will take a while for sure. i still just wander around here on the weekends - our little kiddo's where over here just about every weekend of their life. Hoping you can get really interested in something to occupy your time.
You eventually will find something else to do now that your auntie is gone. Just give it time and do whatever you want to do, when you want to do it. Or use that time to just relax and do something special for yourself. Have a pleasant weekend. It is to be showery here and probably muggy.....we're cooler than most summers have been, but that can change in a flash. So will enjoy it while I can..
It is difficult to break habit but you will find another way to contribute. Give yourself time.
I've been able to get out some mornings to sit on the swing and read my devotionals, but now mosquitoes are out.
You will find something to do with your time, learn psp on computer? Oh wait you have to get the program first.
@KarensPotpourri2 - I know that is hard for you too Karen--not having the kiddos close by
@thistlepatch - it is really hard here--by 10 am it's almost to hot to get out and do much--guess I need an earlier start huh?
@TheSunnyC - I know I will--the nursing home has ask me to come volunteer--but I think I need to back away for sickness and dying for a while--
@BLB - is psp photoshop?--I saw a week or so ago Best Buy had it on sale for like $50.--I thought about getting it--but someone told me its to hard.. Mosquitos are already back here too--and they say they are already having cases of west nile in Dallas--so be careful
I use Paint Shop Pro vs. 7 and 9 and they are well past 10 now. lol
we had a earthquake here in Cleburne,Texas when I went down for my nap at 1pm a 3.5 and this made the 2nd in 2 days and yes, I felt it.
So sorry about the loss of your aunt. I pray you find things that will occupy your time. Me I do as little as possible lol...it's 96 here right now so dang hot that I don't care to go out. I am about to agree with my mom and decide that I hate to see summer get here. I can cover up to get warm but cooling off is hard to do lol!

@Mymanyblessings - Thank you for your kind words. As for the heat-I just told my hubby I think our ac has spoiled us--we didnt have it when we were kids--but thank God we do now !
@Babyboomerjill - Strange these earthquakes in Tx and Ok--by the way--I'm in Gainesville--just a rocks throw from the Red River !
@Maggietx1 - I was there back a month or so ago when I went to a woman's workshop at Tanglewood Resort.
I took a photo of downtown, the Santa Fe depot and the metal horses outside of a bank. They were sculptures made from car parts.
Indeed this is like a big void for you, Maggie , but you overcome it.
