I know I need to update but there just isnt much going on around here. My Aunt is still not feeling well. I was there this morning--they asked her if she wanted to lay down--she said-"I know I shouldn't but I'm so tired" I said "Why don't you want to lay down? She said "Cause people will think I'm lazy if I go back to bed!" She's 96 !!! I convinced her it was ok at 96 to nap awhile. But I understood cause I guess back in her day you just didnt nap during the day ! I go to the nursing home everyday and I can see her going down before my eyes--but I understand she's tired. Hope you all had a Happy Easter.

Bless her heart she probably is tired and she probably misses your mom too. I hope you are doing ok.

@KarensPotpourri2 - Thank you Karen--I'm sure your right--she tells everyone she the last of her family--she out lived all her brothers and sisters.
It is good your Aunt still has her memory, though it is good you convinced her to nap.
@BLB - She sure sleeps alot but I walked in this morning-she opened one eye and said "Wheres My ice cream?" of all mornings I forgot so I had to run get her some !! She still makes me smile
You are very caring ,Maggie annd I am sure your aunt appreciate much . My father in law died in 2007 .he was 94 and he was weak but with all of his mind .

and oh how sweet is she..so typical of a 'strong' woman ..bless her...it's very hard 'watching' them grow weak and ill..so sorry..*hugs* to you..will keep her and you in my thoughts and prayers..Hope your Easter was a nice one..hugs and love...Lee

@BLB - Bonnie--probaly that I had to go get her ice cream ! But if at 96 you cant eat ice cream for breakfast--then whats the use huh?
