Not much new
I know I need to write a new post but not much happening. Saturday is my Aunts 96 birthday--and she ask me everyday--if it's her birthday yet?? and why has no one called or send her a card ???? LOL Even at 96 we still enjoyed things like that I guess. The rest home is having a party tomorrow for everyone with a birthday in Feb. so I'm taking ice cream to go with there cake. Then on Saturday for her birthday I'm taking her a hamburger(her request) and I'm sure she will have company.
So far our winter has been real mild--enjoying--only problem i need to mow the grass !! Strange for Feb huh?

Hope your aunt has a good birthday! I was just thinking this morning that it is time to start planting gardens down here.

No mowing grass here..........snow still on most of the yard. Sunny days are nice, but with the breeze coming off the snow-coveed Cascade Mtns, it makes one shiver all over. Hope your aunt has a wonderful birthday. Giver her a hug from the 'westcoast'.
You should have everyone bombard her with birthday cards!
No winter to speak of here yet and in this part of the world we need to have winter or things tend to not go well the rest of the year.
Where are you in TX? We will be in the Dallas area in about 2 weeks.
@thistlepatch - not much snow in Texas and when we get it-no one knows how to drive in it !
@SouthForkCheerMom - I should have but somehow time got away from me ! Hope things are going ok with you. Think of you often
@TheSunnyC - We are about 100 miles north of Dallas. I agree if we dont get some winter-it will be a bad summer here !

Hi! That is strange, about...cutting grass right now.
I haven't. lol! I had totally forgotten about the
money, that they had collected for me. Thank you dear,
for reminding me, of this, and other little things.
I think, I focus too much on the negative. But
my husband's meds, are expensive and they are high.
I went for a week or so, without mine, so he could
have his. He hasn't had a raise in 5 years, and we
are drowning in debt. It is hard. I'm trying hard
to keep a stiff upper lip. Happy Valentine's Day to you.

OH,, I am not ready to start mowing that grass yet... NO...
But I can't complain because I haven't shovled a lot of snow yet this winter.
It's been very mild for us too.
