  • Odd Things

I was buying sliced ham in those little packs when I noticed the price on that one was 6.66--I put it back and got another one tha was 6.69. If my bill totals 6.66 I give them 6.70 or 6.75 and say keep the change. Am I the only one that does that ?? Any other odd things ya'll do?

  • You know, I've never even thought about that.  I guess I don't have superstitions.  Hm...I really need to think hard about it though.

  • Just about everything I do could be considered odd!

  • @VallejoGirl - I bet you find a few when you think about it

  • @KarensPotpourri2 - Lol Me to Karen. I guess we all have some that we dont think about

  • I worry about the 666 thing too.

  • @TheSunnyC - glad to know I'm not the only one !

  • I didn' kow anything about 6, 66 . I thoought you gave 6,70 to ease the calculus !!!
When I go to the hair dresser I give him a tip . Do you know it is very hard to cut the hait of an almost bald man !!!

  • Hi Sister,
The strange thing I have a habit of doing is counting the lights on the back of a semi when I am
stopped behind it. I don't just count the number, but the actual bulbs inside each red light staring at me.
Kind of silly isn't it? It's not something I can't stop myself from doing, but I catch myself often counting
    them off....lol
love you.. I hope the holiday season is warming your heart as it does mine.

  • @bleuzeus - Glad I'm not the only one who does stuff !!! I read car tags--the states I mean--but they have so many different ones now it's hard to see. Hope your having a wonderful Christmas time !!

  • Hi, you are not the only one.  I'm a cashier, and when people get the number 6.66, they

buy gum, or something else, to change it.  It's not just you.  I'm not superstitious, and

I just pay it, myself.  But if my friend is with me, she makes me, change the price,

and buy gum.  Thank you for your well wishes.  Merry Christmas!  Riding_Hood

  • Wil buys groceries and I doubt he does that. He will stand looking at the cash slip to make sure they haven't shorted him!

Now if you want odd things I do that will take the rest of the year!

  • Hi dear, Merry Christmas, I'm blessed to have you as a friend too.  Riding_Hood

  • Ha..no I don't think about it..but I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year...you AND yours...take good care..hugs and love..Lee

  • Hello my friend.  I do believe, as Michel says, we don't know, the ending of time.  But I only wanted to put it

out there, because, most people.......will, start with Nostradumus predictions, and others, as we get close

to Jan. 1st.   Whether or not 2012 is the end, I know not.  I only hope for my children's sake, it is not.

After all, my children are just starting out.   I do believe that, God can use science as He see's fit.

I think, God did create dinosoaurs, unicorns, and fire breathing dragons.  Just because we have not

any (useful)-information about unicorns, and dragons, doesn't mean, they didn't exist.   We do

have bones, of the dinosaurs, and most scientists say, that man couldn't have existed at the

same time, as they did.  Who knows?  Maybe a few did?  But that's just me.   Take care,

    Riding_Hood

  • I hope you had the best Christmas possible and I wish you,Maggie a better year 2012.

    Love

    Michel
